Rethinking creativity: creative industries, AI and everyday creativity

چکیده

This commentary reflects on how creativity is dehumanised (and rehumanised) and its labour aspects are hindered highlighted) in the three recent developments our understanding of arts, culture creativity: creative industries; AI creativity; everyday life. The industries discourse instrumentalises dehumanises by hiding perspectives treating as human capital a generator IP. Meanwhile, contemplating helps us to look beyond economic paradigm consider key traits creation process, some which successfully emulated AI. Yet, we also observe dissociates from agency cost-cutting effect can challenge creators many sectors. Finally, idea effectively rehumanises democratises however, it not only lacks but hinders them.
